The city's
new International Airport, at Nong Ngu Hao in Samut Prakan, is open now. According to the Airports Authority of Thailand, Thailands new international airport's name is written
Suvarnabhumi.
According to the Royal Institute's Romanisation Guide for Thai Script, it should have been spelt
'Suwannaphum'.
The
Departure Hall is a delight! Wide and spacious. It invites you to go abroad, or at home at least. Passenger Service Charge is 700 Baht.
The
Arrival Hall is confusing, small and without any Flair. We badly miss a 'Meeting Point' on this Floor. We couldn't spot any Seats for waiting Persons. The Slideshow shows you the Way to the Busstation.
Only
Thai Commercial Bank (Thai Panit) and the
Thai Military Bank (TMB) have Exchange Boothes at the new Airport.
